Galeria Pelaires is pleased to announce the beginning of the representation of Francesc Rosselló, who has now joined the list of artists with whom the gallery collaborates on a regular basis. His work is set to be featured for the first time at Pelaires as part of this years Art Palma Summer event taking place on 8 June. The exhibition is entitled 5 minutos más y ya vuelvo (5 more minutes and I'll be right back) and will remain open to the public until 14 September.
Francesc Rosselló (Vilafranca de Bonany, Mallorca, 1994) graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and also holds a master's degree in Teacher Training from the University of the Balearic Islands. His works —usually in oil and acrylic— capture his particular universe, in which people close to him, animals, food and cigarettes are represented with a markedly personal stroke. Humour plays a major narrative role, and is accompanied by a spectrum of bright, saturated colours that works harmoniously.
His last solo exhibition I miss you (only on Fridays) Ok, on Saturdays too! was featured in 2022 at Horrach Moyà, the Palma-based gallery that has represented him for the last couple of years.
